Cookie policy
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Vega US, LLC ("Vega," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit drinkvega.com and related webpages that link to this policy (collectively, the "Site"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, the choices available to you, and how to contact us.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy regarding our broader handling of personal information, the Privacy Policy controls.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. We may also use similar technologies, including pixels, web beacons, software development kits, tags, scripts, local storage, session storage, and server-side event tools. In this policy, we refer to all of these as “cookies” unless a distinction is relevant.
Cookies may be:
• First-party cookies, which are set by Vega or on our behalf; or
• Third-party cookies, which are set by service providers, advertising partners, social media platforms, or other third parties.
Cookies may last only while your browser is open (session cookies) or remain on your device until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).
2. WHY WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies for the purposes described below. The cookies actually used may vary depending on your device, browser, location, account status, and how you interact with the Site.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the Site to function or to provide services you request. They support functions such as security, fraud prevention, network management, customer authentication, shopping-cart and checkout operation, payment processing, load balancing, consent-preference storage, and maintaining your session. Because these cookies are necessary to operate the Site, they generally cannot be disabled through our cookie-preference tool.
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make and provide enhanced features, such as language or location preferences, customer support tools, product reviews, personalization, and other conveniences. If you disable these cookies, some features may not work as intended.
Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, measure traffic and engagement, diagnose errors, test improvements, and evaluate Site performance. For example, they may tell us which pages are visited, how users move through the Site, and whether a marketing campaign led to a visit or purchase.
Advertising and Targeting Cookies
These cookies and similar technologies help us and our advertising partners measure campaigns, limit repeated ads, build or infer audiences, personalize advertising, and show ads that may be more relevant to you on this Site or elsewhere. Depending on applicable law, these activities may be considered “targeted advertising,” “cross-context behavioral advertising,” “sharing,” or a “sale” of personal information, even when money is not exchanged.
Marketing technologies may also connect website activity with customer records or information from other sources to identify visitors, match postal addresses, develop marketing audiences, and personalize online and postal marketing. For subscribers to our marketing texts, they may also identify shopping-cart activity and trigger cart-reminder messages.
Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Vega may “sell” or “share” personal information, as those terms are defined by applicable law, through its use of Advertising and Targeting Cookies. This may include disclosing cookie-derived identifiers, browsing activity, and campaign, audience, or conversion data, and linking that information with contact information or customer profiles, to advertising and marketing providers for targeted advertising, remarketing, audience creation, or measurement, even when no money is exchanged. You may opt out through the Cookie Preference Center or a recognized universal opt-out signal, as described in Section 5.
3. COOKIE CATEGORIES AND PROVIDERS
The following table summarizes the main categories of cookies and the types of providers we may use. It is not a guarantee that every listed provider is active for every visitor. Our cookie-preference tool should display the current cookies detected on the Site, including their purposes, providers, and durations.
Category | Typical purposes | Examples of providers or services
Strictly Necessary | Cart, checkout, payments, security, preorder functionality, login, localization, fraud prevention, consent records | Shopify, Shop Pay, Payment and security providers, Consentmo, Rivo, Stoq, Minmaxify, Gorgias, Essential Cart Drawer, Cloudflare, Boosterapps, Acorn, 9gtp.
Functional | Customer support, reviews, site preferences, enhanced features | Yotpo, Gorgias Shopify and other feature providers.
Analytics and Performance | Site analytics, attribution, performance measurement, testing | Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and other analytics providers.
Advertising and Targeting | Ad delivery, audience creation, remarketing, conversion measurement, visitor/address matching, and marketing-message triggers | Google Ads/DoubleClick, Meta, Klaviyo, PostPilot, Postscript, and other advertising or marketing providers.
Some providers may collect information directly under their own privacy policies. Their use of information may include combining Site activity with information collected from other websites, apps, devices, or sources. Please review the privacy notices of the relevant provider for more information.
4. INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH COOKIES
Depending on the cookie and your interaction with the Site, cookies may collect or derive information such as:
• IP address and approximate location;
• browser, operating system, device type, language, and device or cookie identifiers;
• referring and exit pages, pages or products viewed, searches, clicks, scrolling, and timestamps;
• cart, checkout, purchase, subscription, and transaction-related activity;
• login, account, consent, and preference information;
• interactions with emails, advertisements, reviews, forms, and customer-support features; and
• campaign, attribution, audience, and conversion data.
Where this information identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked with you or your household, we treat it as personal information in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
5. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES
Cookie Preference Center
You can accept or reject non-essential cookie categories and change your choices at any time by selecting the “Cookie Preferences” or similar privacy link available in the Site footer or cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies remain active because they are required to operate the Site or provide a service you request.
Consent and Granular Controls
Where the cookie banner is displayed, it provides equally prominent and accessible “Accept All” and “Reject All” options. Selecting “Accept All” constitutes your consent to all non-essential cookie categories. Selecting “Reject All” rejects all non-essential cookies. You may instead make separate choices for Functional, Analytics and Performance, and Advertising and Targeting cookies and select “Confirm My Choices” to save those settings. The permanent “Cookie Preferences” link in the Site footer allows you to reopen the Cookie Preference Center and change or withdraw consent at any time.
In jurisdictions that require prior consent, non-essential cookie categories are not preselected or enabled by default and do not activate until you make an affirmative choice.
Withdrawing or changing your choice will apply going forward. It will not necessarily delete cookies already stored on your device. You can delete those cookies through your browser settings.
Effect of Rejecting or Withdrawing Consent
After you reject a category or withdraw consent, the affected non-essential cookies and trackers stop operating for that browser or device once your choice is processed. Your saved choices remain in effect until you change them, clear the relevant browser or device storage, or we are required to ask you to choose again.
Browser and Device Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete, block, or limit cookies. Your browser’s help or privacy settings provide instructions. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the Site—including login, cart, or checkout features—from functioning properly. Browser controls may need to be set separately for each browser and device you use.
Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where required by applicable law, we process recognized browser-based universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and/or its processing for targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. Where we can associate the signal with your account or consumer profile, we apply the opt-out to that account or profile as required by applicable law. You may need to enable the signal separately on each browser and device.
Cookie controls may not address every disclosure made through customer-list uploads, integrations, or other methods. To submit a broader sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or contact us as described in our Privacy Policy.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for responding to this signal, the Site may not respond to it. We do respond to legally recognized universal opt-out signals as described above.
Advertising Choices
You may also be able to limit interest-based advertising through industry tools, including:
• Digital Advertising Alliance: https://optout.aboutads.info/
• Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/
• European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/
These tools are operated by third parties and do not replace the Site’s cookie-preference controls. Opting out generally does not stop all advertising; it may make ads less personalized.
6. REGION-SPECIFIC RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights concerning personal information collected through cookies, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or the sale or sharing of personal information. You may exercise applicable cookie-related choices through our Cookie Preference Center and recognized universal opt-out signals. Other privacy rights and request methods are described in our Privacy Policy and privacy request page.
For visitors in jurisdictions that require prior consent, we seek consent before using non-essential cookies where required. You can withdraw consent at any time through the Cookie Preference Center without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
7. EMAILS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS
Our emails and other electronic communications may contain pixels or similar technologies that help us understand whether a message was delivered, opened, or selected and help us measure and improve our communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. Certain transactional or service communications may still be sent when permitted by law.
8. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LINKS
The Site may contain embedded content, links, or features provided by third parties. Those parties may place cookies or collect information when you interact with their content. Their practices are governed by their own privacy and cookie notices, not this Cookie Policy.
9. RETENTION
Cookie durations vary. Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration, until they are replaced, or until you delete them. Information derived from cookies may be retained for a different period as described in our Privacy Policy, as required by law, or as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
10. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our technologies, providers, practices, or legal obligations. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
